This week was pretty interesting with lots going on! A lot of the things we did was to prepare my companion to return to his house so we didn't really get to work much in our area which is hard because we've gotta make up for lost time but we're gonna work hard.
We went to the murder capital of the word which was pretty cool. Honestly it doesn't feel that scary there in the downtown city part. Most of the scary gang stuff happens on the outer limits of the city. We went and bought a couple of things for me and my comp and then we went to lunch. My comp wanted to go to Johnny Rockets which I would recommend. Really good burgers!! After all that jazz we went to the office where the secretaries and President work because my comp had his final interview. He passed if you were wondering ;) It was a good trip but traveling there took about 3 hours and then returning took about the same.
Sunday was crazy. We basically visited the whole branch in Mezapa to let my comp say goodbye and all that juicy stuff. It was kinda hard because I felt like I was leaving/going home. The members were really generous too because they gave us a ton of food. I can't believe how full I felt that night. I was so full that I felt like my stomach was going to blow up! Also I was in that limbo where you feel like you're gonna throw up but you can't but all in all it was awesome! Such a genrous people!
Saturday morning we recieved new of the changes for this week and well lets just say I was pretty anxious to find out my new comp. I knew I was recieving a new comp because Elder Villalobos was going to leave to his home. But my mind was blown when I found out that......................... I'M TRAINING A NEW COMP!!!!! I'm super nervous because I'm not 100% on my spanish and I still feel like I need to learn about the processes in the mission. These are going to be some hard and fun times because I will need to trust in the Lord that he will guide me through all the moments in the next 3 months (that's how long a missionary is trained in the mission field).
My new comp is Elder Miranda. He's such a cool dude! I have only known him for less than 24 hours and I can already tell we are gonna be tight. He's from Ecuador, 18 years old, likes to talk and learn which is cool. I'll send a photo of us but man am I excited. It's gonna be a bumpy road but it'll be fun!
Love you all
